We checked with the front desk clerk who said the entire hotel was non-smoking but he couldn't tell if the room smelled of smoke because he was a smoker himself. He did offer to see if he could find us another room and said that perhaps the manager in the morning would give us a discount.
Both the sink drain and the bath drain were very slow draining so water was rising in the tub while taking a shower. The bath mat was almost threadbare in one of the corners. This stay was disappointing and not nearly what we remembered from our previous stays at other County Inn and Suites. We received no discount but were told we might get a call but no call. Only complaint that their web page says they are pet friendly which they are not.
Biscuits and gravy was great and we enjoyed the willingness to help our rough booking thru Priceline. Keep up the great work and we would stay here again in Salina. We arrived a little later than expected and had trouble finding the location. The motel is behind a huge row of trees and not visible from the road--we finally spotted the Rodeway sign. That is the only problem with facilities.
Staff was mingled, two or three people there but only one working on reception. The bagel, waffle, rolls were off limits. No eggs or yogurt were available.
Excellent free breakfast, comfortable rooms, excellent bathroom with every amenity, free parking. Near restaurants and stores. Provided free stamp for my postcard and offered to mail it! Excellent value for the money. Couldn't have been happier.
If you are relying on Hotel Internet, then you are gone. Despite numbers of request to reset the router, but it seem to be not working. Breakfast is there but just NOT hot breakfast only limiting to self making pancake. Found it on list of pEt friendly hotels. We have a large, furry, gentle, easy-going therapy dog. This hotel is mostly really great but I wouldn't return. It's new, clean, and well-staffed.
The breakfast at the restaurant was also really good and I always saw lots of people eating there for other meals. I was there for two cold winter nights. My room was equipped with a wall-mounted climate control unit, which I could control. It would turn off automati It would turn off automatically after about an hour, presumably as part of some kind of energy efficiency protocol; including at night while I slept.

The town of Salina, Kansas was a really pleasant surprise. Downtown area was revitalized and just great!! Really great choice. Surprised me with how clean, friendly, quite it was. Water in the room, b fast just enough to get you going, coffee so so, but Starbucks walking distance inside Target.
I stay here often when passing through the area, and have always had a very good experience. I will continue to choose this hotel when I am in the area if I can get a good rate. It was clean. I had my dog with us , the room was very convenient to letting my dog out to potty.
It was on the 1st floor which I hope all pet friendly rooms are on. Like the room, staff was excellent, room was clean and efficient, bath room was the same. Hot tub and pool area were the only good thing about this hotel besides breakfast.

Place was a cluttered mess with a dog lying right in the middle of the floor. I had Motel 6 Salina. Working fridge and wifi, lovely hot shower.
Great price, and convenient to the highway to resume our cross-country drive. Rodeway inn. Village Inn Motel. Friendly desk service and an easy check-in. Good WiFi in the room. Some close fast food places. If traveling on , take exit 92 and go to the Traveler's Lodge. This looked like there might not be bed bugs and was affordable.
Plus, it had air conditioning. Ambassy Motel. Good water park, restaurants and bars, lots of history. Not far from Wichita at all. Topeka and Kansas City are easy to get to. Prices for anything are reasonable. Budget Host Inn. We left within two hours of arriving.
Pubic hair in the sink Not a clean tub, bed is ok at best, and the room smells like incense. Overall, I'd say it's fine if you're looking for budget, but next time I'd Prices are the average nightly price provided by our partners and may not include all taxes and fees.
